FREE things all Pregnant Mommies need to check out!

I wanted to share a few things I think every pregnant mom should know about. I found out about Upromise when I was on a flight home to visit family and chatted with a new mom sitting beside me. Upromise is a college savings plan where you earn money for college just from making purchases from your registered credit card. It's totally safe and very well known. I've been saving for all 3 of my kids and have a pretty good savings started. Find out more details here!

Belly Bands Help Before and After Pregnancy

Pregnancy belly bands can help you stay in your regular wardrobe longer by giving you the opportunity to wear your pants just a little longer. They're designed to act as a layering fabric, or to look like you've layered two different tee shirts.
Wear them with those favorite jeans you can no longer button! They hide the fact that your buttons are just too far apart!
They're also great post baby when those jeans are staring at you again, wondering where you've been! :-)
I loved using them while I was nursing too. Lifting your top leaved a scary site (for me anyway) otherwise knows as "soft belly". The belly bands acted as a cover for my mid-section! I'd rather show my boobs that my belly!
Check out our selection of maternity belly bands in a great selection of colors and designs.SHOP FOR BELLY BANDS HERE!

Staying Healthy During Pregnancy

Staying healthy during pregnancy is not only for your health but also for your baby. I have concerns about what causes autism. I'm not sure that the vaccines should be totally ruled out just yet. But I also think that living a clean chemical free (or as much as one can in these times ) is imperative to a healthy pregnancy.
We are bombarded with chemicals in everything, from foods, to carpeting, to mattresses to clothing, detergents... I'm sure the list goes on and on. Why not make an effort to control the intake of chemicals you ingest as much as possible while pregnant. I read a study somewhere stating there is almost no cases of autism in the Amish? OK, I don't want to start a debate, I'm just thinking in generalizations, but they live simple lives and don't use and aren't exposed to the amount of chemicals that we are in the mainstream. They farm, they raise their animals for consumption. If anything, this makes me wonder if the chemicals we endure everyday have something to do with it. Not to mention other ailments and cancer that can result from chemicals...
During pregnancy, you're not only looking our for #1, you are also looking out for little #1 !! If anything, just be a little more aware and don't forget to get a nap today! ha ha
